Global Warming is real!
This is a model that shows how carbon dioxide will contribute to changing rainfall frequencies which could put more heavy rain in some areas and contribute to soil erosion. Areas outside of the tropics are predicted to become drier.

Million Trees NYC at Medgar Evers College
This is me and my fellow environmental science colleague Paula at Medgar Evers College. We saw that the "Japanese Dogwood" species I planted two years ago this week was leaning and have to clean it up and re-adjust it.

The Result Of Fossil Fuel Dependancy
Many people are in a gas line waiting for gas as result of Hurricane Sandy. The hurricane caused the infrastructure around the NYC metro to be shut down. As a result, the city was cut off from resupply which caused restrictions to be put on the current supply of gas limiting amounts which can be purchased. The police is regulating this, hence the long lines. Many cars have become stranded or some are surviving on fumes. If we were less dependent on fossil fuels this might not have happened say if cars were solar powered or ran on "green" biofuels.

We Need A Government Sponsored "Green Renovation" program
A mass "green" renovation plan for metropolises should be developed to assist in the multiple initiatives coming into play. In New York City, building owners can get up to $100,000 in tax abatements for installing green roofs. Other benefits include incentives for installing solar panels. Frankfurt, Germany is one of the leading cities on the "going green trend" with most of the city's roofs becoming "green rooms". Portugal is building the world's first sustainable city. How can the U.S. get up to par? Feedback wanted!
